What sort of stuff are you looking for? Drama? Enthusiasm? Coercion? Tenderness? Intensity? Desperation? Sympathy? Coziness? Elegance? Corruption?
There's something for everyone in the hag category, but I agree that it's really easy to stumble into the "wrong" thing for your personal tastes precisely because the industry standard label of "Mature Woman" encompasses so/too much
My WIP hag flowchart and companion pastebin will hopefully solve this problem for future generations of jukujo enjoyers...
