This whole thing is really making me think about incels and their "Western women bad" crap that I started falling for. When you spend your whole day locked up in a room and your worldview is filtered through Twitter's vitriol and 4chan's pessimism, it really starts fucking with your head. You start painting the world in such simplistic colors like a child, even though you think of yourself as some sort of authority on humanity. Eventually, you start taking any negativity as truth, and the worse the better, because nothing nice ever happens, Twitter and 4chan told me so and I sure as shit don't see anything else. Like a month ago, I would've automatically dismissed a girl like Mori instantly, and assumed more bad shit about her than any normal person could imagine. And now I'm thinking, Jesus fuck, that would've been so stupid.
After watching this random rapper weeb girl being legitimately happy, and actually cheering for her, something just clicked and it's like I looked at myself in the mirror for the first time in 10 years. Good lord, I have a lot to think about.
