there's no indication as to whether someone is practicing a certain religion or not because people probably will not talk about whether they go to a particular place of worship or not.
some of the holos do and will continue to talk about temple visits at new years, which is very typical in japan, but this in itself is no indication as to whether they actually believe in anything. There are many people who do it because their family and friends do it.

they can lie, gossip, or slander (shitpost) holos all day long for 365 days and on and on, but their words don't change the reality of what a holo does or says
look with your own eyes, judge and understand accordingly, and decide whether you want to watch a holo or not on your own
