Guess I'm a romantic by heart. Bite me. I can't think of very many things that symbolize love and commitment more. It's two people choosing to sacrifice some part of their lives to raise and nurture a (or several) creature(s), and hopefully ensure they grow into a better version of themselves. And it'll lead to a lifetime's worth of experiences and memories you can't get any other way.

Things work differently in the land of fantasy, so I don't need to be as worried about all the logistics behind raising children. It's one of the things I would most look forward to. As the cherry on top, I'll be saving my wife's species from extinction.

Impregnation is simply conceptually hot too, if you need to look at it from that angle.
