yeah, it was probably (you) then, since it was a big folder of Rin art that also had a guro folder casually placed alongside the rest. I really really really really love Rin a whole bunch but yeah I don't like guro involving her. I do like some slightly edgy art here and there (like wounds404, pic related) but yeah I draw the line at any sort of guro/ryona/etc. After thinking it over a whole bunch I can kinda understand your line of thought since I'm basically treading a similar but ultimately lighter path of obsession. Another slight tangent but like, I can appreciate stuff like lobotomy corporation fanart that has tons of cutesy edgy gorey stuff, but ultimately those are generic npcs so it's extremely easy to dehumanize them vs a character I'm emotionally attached to.
