Not him, but manga (and even moreso doujinshi) is simultaneously worthless yet irreplacable if it makes sense. You can get doujinshi for as cheap as 100 yen from Mandarake for example. Yet some of mine have been signed by the author and I'd be pretty mad if someone tore them up despite their awful resale value.
