Most spiders eat insects. Most humans don't eat insects so I'm assuming here you don't eat insects. Since you don't eat the same kinds of food they won't be "stealing your food."

Also if you have spiders living inside your house that means you also have insects that the spider can eat (otherwise it would leave or starve to death) and the spiders are helping you by eating those insects, which do eat your food, like ants and flies.

Remember, a single spider eats lots and lots of insects during it's life.
