Yes.
Could I keep my memories? Even if I were born in a "normal" family without my father dying when I was 3 I still worry I'd end up as a dumb sperg without no self-awareness. My stupidity and the time I wasted, especially during my teen years, still makes me cringe every day. It's not even the exciting kind of stupid.

The childhood friend fantasy has kinda started terrifying me. When I recall my childhood (or even few years back) I often feel embarrassed because I remember how much of a idiotic, cringy, clueless, autist without self-awareness I was. I still probably am but I've gotten much better. I worry that by the time I've grown up from it I would have driven away intentionally/or not anyone like that, or just plain embarrass myself too much.
