It's clear that the author's interest in the series is waning.

The next part might not come at all and even if it eventually does, it might well be the last one.
However I don't think the next part is going to end the whole story, so undoubtedly this story will end up unfinished.

Then again, I saw that coming miles away.
With the rate the story just keeps expanding upon itself while only slowing down with the releases, there's no hope for an ending or a proper conclusion.
