Aoko's magecraft is ideal for combat, on top of her excellent martial arts which are further enhanced by magecraft.
Simply calling it simple and brutish is quite unfair.
It is highly refined and elegant in how it all executes.

Sure abstract stuff like weird phantasms and fairytale magic is better for some, but it is also kinda silly looking in the Nasuverse.

I played w Aoko's already. She's ok when used properly. She has a somewhat decent rushdown, but she's mostly good with zoning with her orbs.

I use in too. Works fine with Melty Blood and HisoteSoku. Don't have any problems with Touhou, but I use the L and R buttons to focus and bomb
