Their AACI can reach +8 shootdown too. OASW is one of the most important destroyer abilities. Fletcher has the best overall stats out of the AA destroyers, and both of them can do AACI, OASW, and night battle in the same sortie.

If you want the strongest AACI, that's Atlanta by miles. In addition to Iowa, Intrepid is worth mentioning for her big slots, Sara for being one of the few armored carriers, Colorado for having a touch that non-dupefags will need for lockouts, and USS Prinz Eugen because you'll probably be mad about her redesignation too.

One of these did in fact come from Fletcher doing a 505 damage cutin on the final boss. Johnston had an assist on Janus Hime that brought her low enough to make Jervis' finisher possible, and pre-final boss kills.
