I was rereading a few threads from earlier this year and I it made me realize how much I want to read the original treatment of Umineko. Was Jessica supposed to be Beatrice somehow? What was the full extent of Virgilius' role in the story? How was Black Battler, who would also appear in Episode 3 with Virgilius, to factor in at all?
It's tempting to get lost in the sea of "what if's".

to answer your question, the old 07th website (that's still up mind you) actually mentions a white horse prince in jessica's bio, which to me screams of dropped plot point considering that exact idea is used for sayo instead in the actual story
