Of course, the simplest explanation is that Caubac is deluded and in denial, something his profile strongly alludes to. Gil also states in CCC the God of modernity is a system built out of human belief.

I wonder if Roa and Caubac share similar beliefs. They are both Catholics and Roa also wants to define God's love and eternity. Which is also related to Arc having the universe inside herself, stated to be a fragment of Roa's wish to define God's love/eternity.
I don't think the similarities with Caubac's entry are a coincidence.
