You are a young Youkai in Gensokyo. So young, in fact, that you don't have much experience with Gensokyo at all. Youkai are formed from inanimate objects, nonsentient animals, and spirits... so whatever you were before, you don't really have much memory of.

You know that Youkai are supposed to be able to take the -- at least humanoid -- form of their choosing, but you're not particularly sure what the limits on this ability are... and you're not quite sure what you look like right now, as you don't have a mirror. You figure that you should do something about this sooner rather than late.

With a bit of experimentation, you've found that you have at least somewhat superhuman strength, but you don't really know what your limits are. You know that all Youkai have some special power, but you have no idea what yours is. You know that every humanoid being in Gensokyo should be able to fly -- humans, fairies, Youkai, etc -- but you don't know how to get started. You figure you should probably find out somehow.

You're in the Forest of Magic. The crunch of leaves echoes as you pace through the woods. Rays of sun peek through the trees near the western horizon -- it's evening.
