Actually, it might not be a bad idea to have a page up with info on NPC creation. There is sort of a post on the Elona wiki about it, but the guy didn't exhaustively go over what each NPC option specifically does. The reason people don't talk about them that much is that it's hard to be sure what bit is set in the NPCs. If anyone knows an easy way to check, that'd be interesting. The list is in your Elona user folder in the help_NPC.txt.

They ARE tough, but the area they're in is a little outside of the nuke range. I've tried to get the King before by aggroing him and luring him to where I set the nuke, then teleporting to the side of the map. I can't remember if that got him or not, though.
