Okayu catsudan 1/2

>More zatsu, less uta
Today was supposed to be a mix of a zatsudan and utawaku, but Okayu woke up from her nap late, and barely had time to get topics together. She still plans to do a real utawaku in the near future, after she gets some of the music she’s requested for songs she wants to sing. She has a hard time shifting gears between singing and talking anyway.

>Steak visit
Okayu got her own opportunity to go to see the restaurant that had been decorated in her image. Obviously she had to go at a special time to avoid meeting anybody. She took pictures of the interior to show her fans who weren’t able to travel all the way to Tokyo for the collab. She also got to eat her own special. The kachineko on it was drawn by Okayu herself. It’s pretty good? Well Okayu has experience drawing on omurice. She also heard stories from the onigiryaa of the chefs yelling at each other to draw the whiskers on the steak properly, which she finds hilarious.

>News
Okayu’s collab was on the news again! She even saw onigiryaa getting interviewed about it. They got their live tv debut before she did! It really made her feel like her fans were alive, to see them talking on tv. She’s really grateful to everybody who made it out there.

>Sister Claire
Okayu was super happy that Sister Claire asked to be Line contacts after they appeared together on Project V. Okayu remembers watching Claire’s debut before she had even joined hololive. It seems like they’d have great compatibility? That’s exactly right! Recently, Claire asked her out for dinner, and Okayu had a great time. She said she wasn’t sure exactly what she liked, but gave Okayu a small Chiikawa accessory, which Okayu has as a decoration in her house now. With the gift, was a handwritten letter, saying she was happy that they got to be on the show together, and saying that she loved Okayu singing Haru wo Tsugeru, and hoping that she would sing it again sometime. Okayu decides to sing it right then, and Sister Claire is in chat. Okayu pins her comment.

>Voice training
Okayu mentioned it before, but she started going to voice training a few times a month in December, and she feels like she finally understands diaphragmatic breathing. She didn’t get it at first, but her teacher was really good at their job. She tried it out recently when she went to the studio to record a song, and she was able to get through a part that she normally needed to take a breath in the middle of in one go. Kanatan had given her some advice on it in the past, and now Okayu understands exactly what she meant by it. It’s thanks to her that she got interested in things like breathing technique or writing her own lyrics in the first place. Kanatan’s always really kind and supportive when Okayu has questions about singing. She really is an angel. Okayu knows Kanata’s mentioned it before, but they really do hang out all the time behind-the-scenes, despite only having several collabs.
