I know this sounds weird, but I wisu Nasu kept Saber a guy because 1. We could've avoided the one thing that made series go shit, which is the constant amount genderbending characters 2. It would've left room for Illya to have her own route, which is Fate route.
Fate route is still focused on Saber just like how UBW is focused on Archer, it's just h-scenes will not be with Saber. I just want some bromance between Shirou and Saber just like Anakin and Obi-wan. It would've made Heaven's Feels more tragic. Sorry if this post sounds dumb.
