No way dude. /a/ only went bad because they like to think anime is on the same level as fine art. So they get all ass imploded when their pure animes get SULLIED by tits, ass, cute girls, blood and gore, etc. Or worse: someone demeans the animes by calling it something like ENTRY LEVEL.

But honestly, it's one of the most popular anime out there. So of course it's gonna be the one most people are likely to watch first. So it's not a bad thing if it's "entry level". I'm gonna call series like Vampire Hunter D and Evangelion that because it's 100% correct. Still love both though.
