As I understand it, she's a living tank. Her ability to absorb anything translates into eating attacks which lets her at least stall out any opponent, then she'll talk her way out of the battle if it isn't worth the hassle or she can come to terms with the opponent.
The only reason Flandre is even involved with the incident is because her ability to destroy anything beats that and she can't be reasoned with because she just wants to fight.
