Certainly she does... I think.

Come to think of it, suspecting Komachi doesn't actually have any particular appearance, but simply looks the way she does because that is how humans perceive death personified.
But wait, you say - sure there are a lot of different personifications of death, but none of them look anything like Komachi, do they?
Obviously not. Being a personification of death, Komachi also has to reflect the fact that us humans don't know as much about death as we like to pretend.

As for the Yama, she would seem to be a whole lot closer to Komachi than usually portrayed.
