After many years of trying different learning methods for written vocabulary (after learning grammar of course), if I had to go back in time and tell myself which one works the best...
I would say just LISTEN to spoken material. Even though my goal was reading, just listen anyway. Expand your vocabulary as spoken Japanese first, and then later supplement that with reading.

In my experience the retention rate is dramatically higher that way. It's far easier to learn new vocab as spoken words first, and I think more natural for the human mind to retain. So it forms a much more solid foundation for your mind to associate the written word with later and it sticks.
Trying to just memorize the written words straight away is like trying to hold water in a wicker basket - You may think you got it for a few days but see the words again a week later and they're gone.

I think it's best to just ignore twitterfags, and this goes for stuff in general
They're just a bunch of loud retards who will (hopefully) have no influence on anything they complain about

Yeah, removing his signature giraffe neck really killed the character for me.

Anyway, the answer is always "Read the VN"
Don't read the LNs, they're bad.

How long do you guys think it will take for Nasu to release the Far Side routes?
A couple of years or a couple of decades?

You guys don't have to make a general, though.
/jp/ is open to TM stuff as much as Touhou. Just make whatever TM thread you want and it'll stay for a long time because /jp/ is slow. A general implies that every other TM thread should be contained in one thread even though /jp/ definitely needs more TM.

Are you perhaps too afraid to assimiliate with /jp/ culture?
