How would picture more Modern Day and advanced Automatons be like? Looking at the standard profile Automatons, they clearly look like ancient tech, literally. The profile Automaton gives a clear ancient or old antique porcelain doll appearance and vibes. And clear Gearpunk feelings and aesthetics (which I guess is accidental on KC's part), pretty much showing that the Automaton is an old-ass yet comparatively advanced design. But still old and antiquated.

In defense of that Ace Combat gijinka plane poster. Pic related can come close to off-profile automaton OR Modern Day Automaton. The gear, equipment, wings and armor pieces as per pic related is modular and removable when not in combat or flight. And if you get pass all those gear pieces and metal bits you still get a cute sexy robo-girl with soft flesh for groping, touching, fondling and love making. And when you do make love to them and get possibly pregnant (because mamono mana), they're grounded until they give birth to a new unit and or until further notice.

Bruh, that is just literally a human girl! Granted, I don't get the context of that image. But at first glance, that is just a racing girl. Nothing "Vehicle Girl" about her, therefore, hard to consider it as an Automaton Mamono.

You know what? I think that Ace Combat posting anon is not wrong about posting pictures of those Gijinka Ace Combat planes and especially the girl-ified pics of the drone aircraft from Ace Combat 7. Atleast those look like off-profile Automaton mamono if you ask me. Perhaps they're more "modern" and advanced MGE automatons unlike the "ancient old" profile automatons. Which are antiques...
