Hapymaher FD done.

Things don't quite continue too nicely after the normal end. The first stuff is still fine, but then you start to realize more and more and more repetition as well as pacing issues. Hapymaher always had the repetition problem. FD one ups it.

Once you are in the last arc of the true-ending "route", you have 6 more dreams, which basically are ~250kb total main-heroine "after"-stories. Completely unrelated to the main-story of course. Is worse pacing possible? The story finally gets towards its climax and BAM, fuck you.
And those aren't even good. They LITERALLY recycle the EXACT SAME plot they did in the main-game. Exact same shit, AGAIN. And if you've read Hapymaher you actually know that the routes ALREADY recycled most of their plot from the fucking common route chapters. So, Keiko has fucking daddy issue drama AGAIN. Wasn't enough to see this 2-3 times in the main-game already, have to do the exact same thing once more. Same for the other two and their stuff. I actually just skipped it, even Keiko's. Sure she's like my third favorite heroine of works I read this year, but there is a fucking limit.
In the end the true route just simmers off. No wonder really, couldn't have done it much worse even if tried.

Past that you get an additional "scenario" which is essentially almost only ero, because why not. Also has some sort of Maia "route" at the end, but again.. one part just does the EXACT same thing as the prequel, AGAIN. And the other option, supposedly her "ending", also just expends on something the prequel already did. (well at least it expanded on it.. fucking hell)


Yeah. Repetition. Fucking repetition. I still think it's fun, especially the first third. Porn is also fine. (though what the fuck is that random bath scene of Keiko's with that voice-filter? Ugh..) But yeah.. I dunno. They probably should've left Alice and Maia away for good and just made a real sequel and not a weird recyquel. I mean if part of the plot is the "farewell" concept... they should be gone afterwards. In their case, no wonder you gotta see the same stuff another time. Doesn't excuse it for the other characters though.
