The flightless bird envies the flying birds
Looking up to the huge sky,
The bird laments over who it is

Ah, everyone else is so fortunate
Why only am I with these wings

Those who can gracefully fly high
Are passing me one by one
I don't care, that's life
But I'm just pretending to be strong

To be honest I can't fully accept it...

The flightless bird noticed
Recently that all it said were complaints
Depressed and bowing down its head,
It stared at its feet

Ah, that's right! I do have
These feet to move ahead

Crossing over fields and mountains
Kicking up some dirt
I bravely step forward
Step by step

Those who can fly, those who can walk fast
Are yet passing me by

Go ahead, don't worry about me
Everybody should go at their own pace
I can neither fly nor walk fast
I won't stop
