It makes me feel so sad and angry when I think about this. Psychedelics could have helped so many people, especially all of the people who don't have much success with traditional therapy or just can't afford it.

Things could have been different if it wasn't for fucking Leary and all of those damn hippies. They were so arrogant and shook the boat way too much. The whole thing scared the shit out of all of the old politicians and parents and they scrambled to bring down that huge sweeping psychedelic ban which made everything illegal and barred scientists from doing any further studies on the medicinal value of psychedelics.
