There is nothing about that picture that suggest that. The point of that picture is to show that Willard doesn't care, making him the perfect partner for Lion.

Lion is Yasu's dream, Yasu dreams to be complete, the fall is the point in which Yasu's life fell apart. Lion is "complete" in a way Yasu isn't.
