Three fairies are the strongest of all touhous. Keep in mind they had never actually fought anyone before the Fairy Wars. They had very little practice, and they still managed some fucking intense danmaku. If they practised as much as Cirno, they'd be unstoppable.

I've always wished that they would depict that in the 3 fairies manga, just once. Something exciting is happening, the fairies all go out and meet up with hundreds of others in the sky, and then they all get wiped out by Reimu in half a second as she blasts by.

Too bad that manga almost completely avoids anything about the games. IIRC the only instance of danmaku is when Yukari fries them near the end of SaBND.
