I just feel like Aoi started early and thus had more success early on while Hayamin was stuck in a lot of supporting roles or in second-tier anime and Aoi also has more main roles in more iconic series and seems to have more range, but I might be blinded by bias so who knows (imo the deaf girl's imouto was the better and more substantial role and Yukino was overshadowed by all of the female cast).
Btw, Aoi has much more twitter followers and has been doing some narration and dubs lately too, plus she has had her own success on radio and with music and other venues outside of anime not to mention Aoi seems to be slowly becoming more in demand as a "tarento" akin to HanaKana or Miyano than Hayamin. and is used to promote SEGA and other products. And, like you mentioned, Aoi is trying a unique creative venture by getting a manga greenlit for an anime which is worth noting, I think.
I guess we will have to agree to disagree for the time being, but the least you can say is that both seem to be at the top of their generation.
Always nice talking to someone who actually knows their stuff and wants to talk seiyuu, later Hayamin bro.
