Alt. 214 is very interesting for mid screen blockstrings. At point blank, 5AAA 3A 214B does a cross up. 5AAAA or 5AAA 6A do not IIRC, and it depends on the distance of the first 5A, delays, etc., so it's a quite good mix-up. In corner pressure it's decent, it is not as good as the default 214 as an anti-jump, and it seems to be neutral on block.
I prefer it to the rekka, which I find to be quite a bad move for pressure. It's punishable on block most of the time and the 3rd hit can often be poked (see how my 4A beat it once). Well, I still ate plenty of yours.
Alt. 236 circles is also decent for okizeme or mid-screen pressure, but I don't know how use it enough atm.

FYI "wake up" is when you are the one knocked down, "okizeme" is what you do when you are trying to hit or do a set-up when your opponent is knocked downed. Here, I was doing a meaty (jA hitting you just at the time you wake up) as okizeme, and you did a spell card as a wake up. That resulted in a poor crying Youmu.
