Speculating on the remaining cast of Hopeless Masquerade got me thinking about something. Why didn't ZUN make Kyouko into Moriya Shrine's youkai miko that was mentioned in SoPM?

It would have fit perfectly. Myouren Temple, even without Kyouko, has the largest amount of characters of any of the three religions, and more than they can fit into HM. She could have fit in perfectly as the miko hinted at being a possible new character in the future.

Plus, Moriya Shrine's on a mountain. Perfect for a yamabiko.
