do you hard limit the amount of reviews per day? that kinda defeats the purpose of SRS, i wouldn't recommend doing that, i set my max daily reviews number at 9999 (and so should everyone else)

im really not doing that at all, i spent the first 1-2 years of studying/immersing in japanese without almost no anki (i just used it for like the first 500-800 most common kanji/vocab then i gave up). most of the stuff i learned i did with just normal immersion, but i noticed a real plateau in more technical and advanced vocabulary so i decided to actually start mining for real now and i already notice improvements
