You're talking about the clones? Not really much except for less jokes about Gamebu. By that point her relevance was kinda gone in the scene; it hurt but it didn't cause waves, or aftershocks if we're bringing back that analogy.

This is a better question, but at the same time it's literally impossible to give a real answer to. At the end of the day I think >>25135643's answer is the best you'll ever get though I'd like to mention that it'd probably naturally go into streaming and we'd also see a lot more heavily edited videos, either in terms of skits or just relatively "normal" stuff since there's really no other term to encompass it but also not a single "normal" japanese video exists. But as a result you'd probably have a fraction of the vtubers since not everyones going to be a good editor or have the resources to hire one in the first place and an even smaller fraction of actually real people, and some of the people who started with videos before shifting into streams, notably Sora, Kaiji and Akkun if memory serves correctly, would probably have quit much early because of that. But again it's kind of impossible to see what that timeline would hold. So I'm fine with where we're at. Though I really fucking wish so much bad shit wouldn't happen but I'm pretty sure that's a constant in any timeline.
