Yea, I remember Dovac having a meltdown after how much 18+ patches were being pirated. I can also imagine the company at the time also had the same stance just less vocal since Dovac was the CEO.

Dovac did consider doubling the price in one of his old twitter rants about how pirated they are. I would imagine the pirate rate of patches is far higher than the sales amount even for something like Nekopara which would be quite uncomfortable numbers for them.
