Alright, fine. None of us ever responded before because we all thought it'd be funny, seeing how fag95 lost its mind. We meme'd about miners, minors, and malware. It proved to be a good filter, too.

Let's see... This whole thing started shortly after webp's implementation. Perhaps the fact that it's jewgle's technology put it on the radar somehow. We laughed at it heartily, and proceeded to ignore it.

Last year, one of our guys decided to sign the executable, thinking it'd help. Back then we thought it's just some microcuck dumbassery, because they hate them unsigned executables. Shortly after, we discovered it only made things worse, causing even more detections. So I reverted that change back for TohoK's repo.

So why does it happen, anyway? According to this upload (http://book-shelf-end.com/up/dwlink.cgi?eraRx2231.7z)) which was a response to the situation, there are several things:

>identifiers, resources, and hard-coded strings contain CJK strings (whatever that means), which seems to get picked up by foreign virus detectors
>there's no limit on the file write function, making it no different from a trojan
>possible webp bullshittery (my guess)
Indeed, you can make a crazy loop that will create and override hundreds of saves at the same time, wearing off your hdd very quickly, doesn't mean you should, no one's done it before. Emuera can delete saves, create saves, create txt dumps, read stuff from CSV/ERB folders, and create .sav folder together with moving all of .sav files in the root folder. It can also create CSV and ERB folders if they weren't detected.

The link above claims that it added folder security permission check.
>check for write and operation permissions, and check for CSV/ERB folders
Which again, didn't help, the scanners are going crazy on that one.

Despite any attempts to remedy any of this, the attempts seem to be ultimately futile, as the exe remains to be unsigned, and it continues to trip the scanners. At best, freshly compiled Anchor, newest Emuera executable, and even Enter's EE Emuera continue getting at least nine detections.
The latest Anchor executable I've compiled has only 8 detections, which might be a good compromise for now.

>tl;dr - jewgle wants you off the era games
