>doujin culture in itself is very transient
You are right, but at the same time it's transient, you can see the reminiscences of the roots very clearly. I don't see those roots around here anymore, and I'm not an old fag. I'm not an old fag and I'm already missing things, no wonder everyone quited

>it's your own fault for not engaging more over the years with the latest happening games
Don't get me wrong, I have played a lot of Among Us with friends, for example, and had a lot of fun. I'm not the old retard who rejects things just because they're new

>and /jp/
I would LOVE to engage more with /jp/ again, but from my point of view, old /jp/ doesn't feel comfortable engaging with recent /jp/. I don't know the exact reason, but I think that's why it's nearly impossible for a Minecraft server to pop up around here, or for someone to make a /jp/ guild in a random MMO. I really don't think that part is my fault... I try to be nice with obviously newcomers, but sometimes I think it's their fault we lost such valuable members, and at the end of the day, I don't think it was a good trade. As I said before, these are transient people, and I hate the way I'm probably sounding saying that, but there is no other way to say it. They will be gone in less than a month, our guild would die in a month, our server would die in a month

Does Japanese really have as many onomatopoeia as English manga translations want me to believe?

[sound of door creaking]

Is there anywhere where I can look them up? Particularly, I need the Japanese symbol for the sound of pooping. Please spare me having to go through assorted scat H-manga to look for SFX.
