I'm just not sure what's 'hard' and what's 'easy'. I evaluate things as to whether I understand it or not. Whether something is hard or easy just depends on that.

I looked back at sentences that I'd pencil-marked, and most of them seem to be a case where I needed to expand my definition of a word rather than a case of grammar. So no help there.

I suppose if I were forced to make a judgment, I don't think it's very difficult. It's about school life, so the vocabulary represents that. The grammar certainly isn't anything extraordinary. It's a light novel. I think it must be dead easy for a native speaker (reader).
