You've been watching tons of anime raw with no subs for quite a while now. How much do you feel you've improved for it, and how well do you think you pick up new vocabulary this way?

Where to find professionally checked/edited example sentences with English translations?

The Kenkyusha J-E EPWING dictionary has some good ones under some entries, but under others it's literally just the word being defined + one more word which isn't particularly helpful.
