Aqua was the second most subscribbed holo in china. When Coco and taiwan happened chinks staretd using holos as symbols to rally under in their hate against Coco. Trying to justify themselves by doing them a favour and making hololive better. After FBK (most subscribbed at that point, over a million subs long before anyone had it on youtube) publicly voiced her support for Coco, chinks went nuts denounced her and used Aqua as their symbol. The translator team (chinks on bilibili) in charge of Aqua's bilibili account released a song called Taking over that was recorded for some upcomming League of Legends event, esports or some shit. They were not authorized to release it and did it on their own, nevertheless chinks got convinced by their ringleader that this was somehow Aqua calling to them to attack Coco. Aqua being a meek person afraid of conflict and having a close friend (Kagura Mea) with a lot of money and events coming up on the chinese market, didn't make any comments on the matter other than people shouldn't be using her image to attack others. This fell on deaf ears as the propaganda machine on the chink side was in full force and now the island chinks and pissed of nips and westerners started seeing her as a collaborator and comparing her to FBK. FBK was always the voicepiece of holos, being one of the older, more experienced members, but this didn't stop people from expecting Aqua act the same. Several other incidents happened, including an artist contrubutor insluting Coco in his Aqua art, and island chinks attacking Aqua during her apex streams using gameplay related excuses. Whether Aqua didn't take hard stances on her own, because of management or to protect a friend is left open to interpretation, but she did in fact talk about and to Coco during that period albeit rare. Nowadays, chinks have realized she is not on their side, but are still trying to facilitate that image in hopes of causing holo fans to fight amongs themselves and their campaign gainst hololive is still ongoing, FBK and Aqua being their main target
