Our world has a kind of defense system summoning famous heroes (or villains that count as heroes by being cautionary tales) to solve issues. It's indicated some of them outright made pacts with the planet for miracles in life and this is their way to pay for them.
It's way too next-to-impossible hard to summon someone with their full capabilities, so from the record the world has it takes from a specific point in life and focused capabilities, shoving in a class container to match them. Like, you can be a magic swordsman, it's impossible to manifest you with all those abilities, you will become a Caster or Saber with one set focused and the other forsaken if not super nerfed. This in turn means the age of the summoned servant will vary depending if he was better with some qualities at youth or adulthood (a spearman teenager may become a powerful mage at old age but by then has poor physical capabilities)
It isn't as bad as it sounds because there is a lot of free leeway in what you can do in the Throne of Heroes like visiting afterlives and stuff like that. Heroic Spirits start yearning to be summoned and help, others to fulfill that which they couldn't in life.
So monster girls like Baobah Sith, the vampire above, have super low chances due to being feared and are glad to have finally met someone that would summon them.
