I noticed this too and well I like to dress nice in general, but what do you think about beard instead?
I heard conflicting opinions about it and I can't match my experience to a conclusion honestly.
Do they think bad of you, or do you think your cool and wild but only cause you're a gaijin and therefore allowed to have a beard, is it just different from person to person.
I keep have a 1-2 days short beard, not messy, and it confuses me.

I have a friend who's pretty socially awkward, and in a ditch effort to get him a girl I'm thinking of introducing him to dating sims, hoping that it will at least give him a cue as to what to do with girls. He's not a full blown aniota, but reads some manga so as a medium it's good at least...
