I see youkai are spreading more misinformation. Studies have proven that relationships with youkai are more likely to involve abuse and rape.It'll likely be an abusive and unhappy relationship for sure, if they don't eat you outright. Then we have the issues of their spawn. While half-breeds are still thankfully rare, preliminary research suggests they would be mentally imbalanced have difficulty fitting in in either society. If you're still at breeding age, then why don't you marry one of the many single women in the village? You'd be in a happier relationship and your ancestors wouldn't look on you in shame as you taint their bloodline.
