OP here. Thank you for the encouragement, anons. Yesterday felt like a skill ceiling and I was pretty discouraged by it. I'm definitely going to try drawabox on the side, it seems like a good resource.

These two pieces of advice really helped. I'm not sure how to move on from front view standing poses (the one in your pic looks incredibly difficult) because perspective and squishing proportions to fit it intimidates me, but I tried to draw bigger today, and I'm really satisfied with the result. Anyways, here's Okina! I'm incredibly happy with her, but the sleeves threw me off.
