To think that it all started with a stare. Her silky long hair, her elegant mannerisms, her gentle smile... Kaguya has been on your radar ever since that one faithful visit to Eientei. You came down with a particularly bad case of flu, and the doctor at there was rumoured to be particularly talented medic. Despite the Princess being a rare sight for stranger she seemed to took an odd interest in you, and it was only logical that the charms which drove many a noble mad would also claim your heart. You swore that you'll succeed where others have failed and make her yours, no matter what it took.

It was difficult, considering your social status and upbringing. Your elegance and tact was missing, replaced with a hefty dose of autism. Yet in a way it seemed like autism and determination was all you needed. You were determined to win her heart, even if it meant getting into the hospital every week to see her. She seemed to appreciate your company, always happy to chat or simply sit by your bedside while you drifted off to sleep. The presence of someone lesser than her put her at ease, and made her more open to conversation. With time, carefree chatter turned to heartfelt conversations. You found out that life was not always easy for the Sinner of Eternity, someone who has lived for hundreds of years. Eternal life is tedious, lonely, and often cruel. She found you fleeting just as much as she found you entertaining.

Perhaps that's why she was so confused when her start started longing for you. The feeling was almost foreign to her, having lived so long detached from the world, and she didn't know how to deal with it. She didn't understand how some lowly villager could have brung her to such a state. But the more she thought about it, the more real it became. It started to become something more. Every time she heard your soft voice calling her name she had to bite back a smile. It was hard work keeping herself composed when you were looking at her so lovingly.

One day you made the final step and confessed your love to her under the moon, as the night wind blew through the garden you looked up at the beautiful full moon. You whispered softly as tears filled your eyes. Your vision blurred and you couldn't hold back anymore tears. She was smiling down at you, barely holding back tears of her own. "Kaguya..." you choked. "I want you. Please." And with a flick of her wrist, Kaguya had taken you in her arms and buried her face in your neck. As you clung to her waist, you felt sparks shooting down your spine. "Please. Even though the sands of time will never stop rolling forward I want you to stand by my side. For eternity." You both stayed in each other's embrace for a long time. You both knew that this was it. Eventually you too drank the Hourai Elixir, making your everlasting bond official. And so started your life with Kaguya, with her as the princess and you as her prince.
