It was blazing hot outside on this summer day. I didn't ask, but I must have been asleep for at least a day. I limped along slowly until I arrived at the site of the battle to see...Cirno and Dai? They had been fixed to extra thick sunflowers that had been grown in the middle of the destruction, like scarecrow. I walked up to them. Their bodies were black and blue, bearing the signs of a vicious beating.
"I see, so Yuuka ended up venting all of her fury on you two huh. Well I guess you started it in the first place, but still..."
Suddenly, Cirno stirred.
"Water...please.."
I was glad that I wasn't in their position, but I still felt bad. This was my opponent in my first danmaku battle, and what a battle it was. I had to have at least a little respect for my opponent. I cut down both her and Dai, and gave them some water.
"Thank you...but, human, don't think" She groaned and coughed "...that this makes you stronger than me...you just got lucky."
They limped off, Cirno supporting Dai on her shoulder. Well, it's not like they're human. They'll be fine in a couple days, probably... meanwhile... I gripped my side in pain and looked around at the amount of work I had to do and sighed. Life as the gardener of this demon woman yokai sure isn't easy...
