I'm now a full convert to the church of sparkling. I used Katori, Nagato, Fusou, Yamashiro, Junyou, and Chitose to chip the boss gauge at E-5. Second fleet never changed. I didn't sparkle while chipping, but I had no issues. Yamashiro was there on the final run to help with AS so Taihou could attack, but she hardly did damage. I could have gone with Mutsu instead and Taihou full of Reppuu, but Yamashiro held her own. I swapped Katori's command center for a damage control too.

My route support had full sparkling while chipping, and they only ever failed to show up twice. Just the flagship of boss support was sparkling. Both were full of firepower equipment, but I added some accuracy for the final run. It made no difference. You can see that the boss support didn't hit shit when I killed her. I even fully sparkled them that time. I also wanted accuracy with firepower in my main fleets, which seemed like it paid off.

I just can't believe how lucky I got after sparkling the 1st and 2nd fleets. I hope I can convince any struggling nonbelievers that 1-1 is the real E-5.
