So. It's been six months since the patch which was supposed to install Unlimited Blade Works on our toaster-ovens was released, and now all of Fate/stay night is less than three years away from being completely translated, and yet still the options for portable visual novels in general remain very limited. What is there? PSP Onscripter hacks and a scanty offering of fanhacks/Higurashi for the DS? Where are the other platforms? No Windows CE? Not even Linux, which could be reliably expected to have a Great Horde of Verlorne Haufe Berserkrs porting every Windows 3.11 cooking database with great zeal? Where is the enthusiasm? The drive? The determination? I know that we are the scum of the Earth--the merest scum of the Earth, yet lugging around a full laptop or even a half-one is not always desirable or even possible when thou labours to move from one room to the other whenst hither come. In the bathroom, who would dare man-handle a notebook for fear of electro-cution? Are we really so meager, so bereft, that no enthusiasm can be mustered for this endeavour! Why!
