I wonder why people are reading comments and posts on H!O. Where is the wota old guard? Don't tell me they've moved on and all we have left here are H!O newcomers who come to talk about current H!O affairs and feel "cool" about it.

Are you using a Unix-like OS? If so, writing such shell script ain't hard (it just takes a URL and directory and feeds it to wget while adding a few bells and whistles to make it more efficient). If not, a bash script won't help you anyway.
