Why are the Lost Word devs so scared about saying the word "Christmas"? Do they think it'll be offensive somehow? Throughout the event so far and the entire month of December I never once heard any of the characters mention Christmas once. Why is that? They simply mention vague terms like "Holiday" and "Holidays". It's clear that they're referring to Christmas, so why do they never mention it? It's not like any of the imagery in the event has anything to do with Kwanzaa or Hanukkah. It's not like Eirin was confused about the traditions and customs of the holiday. Are the Lost Word devs pandering to minorities? The only reason why the Lost Word devs are so scared about mentioning it is because they want to appeal to the African American and Jewish community. There just isn't any other reason for this. One has to wonder why this is the case and what the Lost Word devs are planning next because this is raising red flags in all directions. Maybe "Christmas" is the actual lost word in this game. Who knows.
