Satoko's reactions to Keiichi ending the Houjou murahachibu in Tataridamashi and Rika doing the same at a later date in Satokowashi are interesting.

Looper Satoko in Tataridamashi seemed genuinely happy with her own firsthand experience of the village's adults being friendly to her the first time ever. Even if she had seen Minagoroshi before. I think it was supposed to be a very powerful moment for her, not just more acting.

When Rika ended the curse business we didn't get see Satoko's full reaction beyond her initial surprise, but I think she ended up hurting Satoko a bit. At least it felt like that to me. Like the scene where Rika tries to make Satoko feel better after she dropped some coins and nobody helped, but ends up only making Satoko feel even more beneath her. The villagers returned to their old habits and didn't change their treatment of Satoko all that much. Probably. A shame that anime can't really focus on stuff like that, you just don't get a feel for what their daily lives are like at each part of the story. Anyways I'm rambling, if I had a point I already forgot it.
