Is it ok to give a TPE doll piercings? Can any problems develop immediately or in the future? And how should I do it, should I just use one of those ear piercing guns?

I mean, I don't know much about piercings, ear rings, etc, but do piercings depend a lot on actual flesh regrowing around the piercing site? Thus, making piercing TPE a no-go in some way?
